NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police arrested a man after he allegedly fired gunshots in a neighborhood.
Jason Malik Wilson, 18, is charged with discharging a firearm within city limits and possession of stolen goods less than $2,000.
Officers responded to a report of gunshots in the area of Gary Drive and Olympia Avenue on Friday at approximately 9:46 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle backed into a driveway with its engine running and spent shell casings on the ground around the vehicle.
When officers approached the vehicle, they saw two men attempting to conceal themselves inside the vehicle and after they gave the men loud verbal commands, they had the driver exit the vehicle. They noticed an AR-15-style rifle and a gun on the passenger-side floorboa
