The Barrington High School boys soccer team moved one step closer to the Division I finals.

On Saturday, the Eagles picked up goals from four players en route to a 5-1 win over Cranston West in the quarterfinals. Evan Memoli scored twice, while Brady Andrew, Ollie Cope and George Zhukov each netted goals for the Eagles. Memoli also assisted on a score.

Meanwhile, Cole Ornstedt, Jake Tomlinson, Vissilios Makris and Brooks Mello played stellar defense and shut down the Falcons’ attack. Liam Helfrich made six saves against Cranston West, while Zach Sheinberg finished with one save and one goal allowed.

The Eagles will square off against Moses Brown in the Division I semifinals. The game will be played on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at Alumni Stadium at Rhode Island College. The game is scheduled to
