A New Jersey lottery player hit the top prize of $500,000 in the Triple Match scratch-off game last week, according to lottery officials.

The winning ticket was purchased at a local market at 1102 Elizabeth Ave. in Elizabeth, New Jersey Lottery officials said Monday.

The $500,000 winner is the second of three top prizes available in the game.

Another Triple Match ticket worth $500,000 was previously sold at a QuickChek on Route 35 in Eatontown.

Tickets for the game, which launched in January, are $10 each. A total of 3.6 million tickets were printed for the game.
