PLAINVIEW, Texas (KTRE) - Former Center Roughrider Keamodre Horace scored his 12th rushing touchdown of the year in Wayland Baptist’s 45-27 win over Nelson University on Saturday.
The junior has scored a touchdown in all six of Wayland Baptist’s wins this season.
Horace had 18 carries for 98 yards and a touchdown, and also caught two passes for seven yards. In the fourth quarter, Horace gave the Pioneers a 10-point lead when he capped off a seven play, 78 yard drive with a 4-yard touchdown run. Marques Hall (Center) hauled in five passes for 32 yards. For Nelson, Jordan Walker (Palestine) led the team with 10 tackles. Landan Henry (Cayuga) added three tackles, while Noah Turner (Mineola) had four punts, with a long of 49 yards.
