Auburn football wasted no time and named defensive coordinator DJ Durkin the interim head coach after dismissing former head coach Hugh Freeze Sunday afternoon.

The Tigers will travel to Vanderbilt after falling to Kentucky 10-3 last weekend at home. Auburn sits at 4-5 overall and 1-5 in SEC play this season.

Athletics director John Cohen and Durkin will address the media for the first following the aftermath of Freeze’s firing.
