On Monday at 12:38 p.m. a high wind warning was released by the National Weather Service valid from Tuesday 10 p.m. until Wednesday 4 p.m. for Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County and Central and Eastern Lake County.
The weather service describes, “South winds 35 to 45 mph with gusts up to 60 mph expected.”
“High winds may move loose debris, damage property and cause power outages. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles,” explains the weather service. “People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown around or damaged by the wind.”
