EDGEWOOD, N.M. (KRQE) – The state of New Mexico will provide water for residents of the Melody Ranch community in Torrance County as the community continues to face ongoing water troubles.
Executive Order 2025-373, which was issued by Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, directs the New Mexico Department of Finance Administration to allocate $250,000 to the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management (DHSEM) to provide water to residents and ensure safe water quality, in coordination with the New Mexico Department of Environment.
