WARSAW, Ind. (WNDU) - Wings Etc. held its 14th annual ‘Toys for Tots’ softball tournament.
The co-ed competition was held on Sunday at the C-C-A-C Athletic Complex in Warsaw.
Last year the annual event raised a record-breaking $32,000.
The program aims to make sure kids in the South Bend community receive toys on Christmas.
“There are so many families that go through struggles and hard times, and this is something that can help these families with their struggles and make sure that their kids don’t go without during the Christmas season, you know we’re just here to help the kids,” said Mike Curry the event organizer.
Over the past 13 years, the tournament has raised a total of $183,000 for Toys for Tots.
