FORESTDALE, Ala. ( WBRC ) - A man has been arrested after authorities seized over $4,000 and over 600 grams of narcotics during a traffic stop.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday, Oct. 28, Narcotics Detectives and Forestdale Patrol Deputies conducted a “proactive detail” in the Forestdale / Pratt City area.
Authorities say that detectives and Forestdale Patrol stopped a car. The traffic stop ultimately resulted in them arresting 43-year-old Demetrius Anderson.
During the arrest, authorities say they seized 609 grams of marijuana, $4,066 and narcotics packing materials from Anderson.
Anderson was booked in the Jefferson County Jail on a charge of first-degree possession of marijuana. He was held on a $10,000 bond.
