(WTRF) — They might look tough on the outside, but behind the tattoos and construction tools are two of the kindest souls you'll ever meet, and they're giving back to veterans in a big way.
This week on Not Your Average Neighbor: proof that generosity, gratitude and grit can all come wrapped in ink.
They call their business Black Sheep Renovations because being different is the point.
AJ Hunt and Bryon Davis say what really sets them apart is how they see people.
"Early on when I started getting tattooed, I noticed people—it's natural to judge. Even if you don't want to, you do it. I do it as well," AJ Hunt said.
Covered head to toe in tattoos, Hunt says his ink isn't just art—it's a statement that challenges others to see past the surface.
