STEUBENVILLE, Ohio (WTRF) — The Public Library of Steubenville and Jefferson County is hosting a community food drive from Nov. 3 through Dec. 6 to help local families in need.

The library is accepting donations of nonperishable food items, such as canned goods, peanut butter, instant mashed potatoes and other shelf-stable items. Community members can drop off contributions at any library branch during regular hours.

"The food drive is part of the library's EveryBody Cares initiative," said outreach coordinator Sarita Asawa. "Hosting this food drive is another way we can make a difference for local families during this time of need."
