NAMPA, Idaho — A section of North Middleton Road is set to close from Nov. 10 to Nov. 13 to repair a railroad crossing. The crossing is located between Chacartegui Lane and West Hemingway Boulevard.
Through traffic will not be allowed between Chacartegui and Hemingway in Nampa as crews work with Union Pacific Railroad to facilitate emergency repairs. Nampa officials said local access will be maintained north and south of the closure.
Traffic will be detoured onto Midland Boulevard at the Karcher Bypass. Drivers should take alternate routes and plan for longer travel times because of the closures.
The southbound turn lane will also be closed for a water valve replacement beginning the same day. That turn lane is expected to reopen in early December 2025.
