The Idaho Veterans Parade is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 8 at 10 a.m. in front of the Idaho State Capitol.
The parade, which comes just before Veterans Day this year, is an annual event that is open to the public and is set to have nearly 200 participants lined up this year, including a variety of historic military vehicles. It will begin with an opening ceremony followed by the parade 10 minutes later.
According to the parade’s website, this year the event will commemorate the 50th anniversary to the end of the Vietnam War in 1975.
This year’s parade route will begin on the corner of North Eighth and West Jefferson streets. It will head east until Fourth Street then south for one block to West Bannock St
