KUNA, Idaho — A preschool in Kuna has received a $5,000 grant to support educational programming from the Idaho Community Foundation's Forever Idaho Southwestern Fund.
The Kuna Early Learning Collaborative offers attendance on a sliding fee scale, which will be supported by the grant. This allows for more families to qualify for the preschool with the organization in partnership with My Place Preschool.
In Kuna, 38% of families are considered low-income , according to data from the school district's 2024-25 report. The Kuna Early Learning Collaborative said the grant could make early education more accessible for those families.
