CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WNCN) — A new cast of players is ready to take the floor in Carolina blue Monday night.
The North Carolina Tar Heels are set to face the Central Arkansas Bears Monday night. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Smith Center in Chapel Hill.
For the first time in a handful of years, RJ Davis is not suiting up to lead UNC. But a guard who played several season with him, Seth Trimble, is ready to take the reins, along with additions such as freshman Caleb Wilson and transfer Henri Veesaar. The trio combined for 53 points and 25 rebounds in a narrow exhibition loss against preseason No. 8 BYU in Utah on Oct. 21.
Central Arkansas of the Atlantic Sun Conference is matching up against the Tar Heels for the first time ever. The Bears finished last season with a 9-24 overall
