Portland police arrested 26-year-old Cameron Hindman in Scappoose on Friday, after a grand jury indicted him on charges of sodomy and sexual abuse of women he’d allegedly met through online dating apps.

In January, officers with the Portland Police Bureau took reports from two separate women who said they had been sexually assaulted at a residence in the 4700 block of Southeast Hawthorne Boulevard. Both women reported the man who attacked them “used physical force to engage in sexual activity,” according to police. Both women sought medical attention.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have had a negative sexual encounter with Cameron Hindman, 26, who is facing facing felony charges of sodomy and sexual abuse. Portland Police Bureau
