“Let The Burger Battle Begin!” is the cry of United Way Leeds and Grenville, as it continues to march toward its 2025 campaign goal of $900,000 with its second annual Novemburger event, seven weeks into its fall campaign already breaching 40 per cent of its goal.
Saturday, UWLG kicked off the month-long campaign, “a fun and tasty way to munch your way to helping others,” said Melissa Hindman, the agency’s director of resource development.
Across Leeds and Grenville, participating restaurants will present a special Novemburger. Each special burger purchased is a $2 donation for the United Way “to sustain impactful programs provided by our partner agencies,” said Hindman.
