DOTHAN, Ala (WDHN) -- A well-known blacksmith whose work has been featured on popular shows and movies has set up shop at the National Peanut Festival.
Trenton Tye runs a professional blacksmith shop, Purgatory Iron Works, and travels around the world with different crafters.
"This is my first time out here at the peanut festival, and I am excited," said Tye
This well-known blacksmith is not only heavily involved in the national fair circut, but has also had dealings in the filming industry. He was featured on Forged in Fire and a host for the Discovery Channel series master of Arms TV show.
Tye is also part of the local peanut industry, but says this is his very first time at the Peanut Festival.
