The Detroit Pistons will be without veteran forward Tobias Harris for the first time this season for Monday night’s matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Harris briefly left Detroit’s win against the Dallas Mavericks in Mexico City on Saturday, being considered questionable to return due to a right ankle injury.
He returned to the game and played 36 minutes — second-most on the team — scoring 11 points with six rebounds.
But the right ankle sprain will now force Harris, 33, to miss his first game of the season after starting the first six matchups of the year for the Pistons.
In his 15th NBA season, Harris is posting 13.5 points, six rebounds and 2.8 assists per game, while shooting 39.4% from the field.
