Construction to U.S. 54 in Camdenton has been rescheduled to begin Tuesday afternoon, according to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release.

Construction crews working with MoDOT plan to widen the road from Business Route 5 to Bumper Hill Road, according to the news release.

The widening of the road will be constructed in several phases, and is expected to be completed in late 2027. All work is weather-permitting and subject to change, according to the news release.

The first phase of construction will continue through spring 2026. While construction is happening, one lane will be maintained in each direction. There will be no center turn lane, according to the news release.
