CLEVELAND (WJW) -- The FOX 8 I-Team has found local businessman Bobby George will not go to prison, though he pleaded guilty to a felony charge for an attack on a lover in a domestic case.
On Monday, George entered a guilty plea to an attempted strangulation charge, a fifth degree felony.
The plea was part of an agreement with a special prosecutor. George was under investigation since last year, accused of assaulting a woman. The victim did not appear in court but submitted a letter to the judge. The I-Team also received a copy of her letter.
"It's hard for me to put into words the way this all has affected me," the victim wrote. "I fear the city I once called my home. I have difficulty trusting anyone besides my family. I'm triggered with reminders of the abuse I endured daily. I am te
