YOUNGSTOWN A road in Youngstown closed on Monday and is set to remain that way for approximately two weeks to conduct "emergency sewer repairs."
According to a news release, Gibson Street between East Avondale Avenue and East Boston Avenue will be closed.
A map, shown above, depicts the area of the closure with a red line.
The reason cited is to conduct emergency repairs to a sanitary sewer.
The closure of Gibson Road will impact access to William H. Taft Elementary School. Access to the school will be available from East Boston Avenue and East Avondale Avenue for the time being while crews work.
The closure is expected to last for approximately two weeks, according to the release.
