A marketing consultant shared his US visa refusal experience on Reddit after applying for a B1/B2 visa to attend a 3-day business and marketing conference in Las Vegas from 8–20 January 2026. The applicant runs an eight-year-old proprietorship firm providing digital marketing services for Dubai-based clients. Despite visiting more than 20 countries, including three trips to Europe and two to Japan, he received a 214(b) refusal slip from the US Embassy in Delhi.
