Exclusive: Police are being called to a single Adelaide housing trust complex up to seven times a day, according to new data that has fed-up housing trust tenants demanding action.

Officers have been summoned to the Kent Town complex, known as "Dr Kent's paddock", more than 1100 times between April 2022 and October 2025. On one particular day in March of this year, police were called seven times.

Helen Hayes has lived at the Kent Town housing trust block for over 30 years," and has witnessed numerous incidents, ranging from kidnappings to stabbings.

"My heart will be pounding until I get inside, get my roller door down and close the roller door," she said.

"These continual incidents, one over the other, just really break you down."
