You're going to want to bundle up this morning, but you're also going to want to dress in layers today. Out-the-door temperatures this morning are in the mid and upper 30s. By this afternoon, plenty of sunshine will raise our high temperature to nearly 70s. That feels excessively warm for this time of year but it's actually exactly on average for this time of year.

By tomorrow morning we will have transitioned to consistent morning temperatures in the middle 40s and high temperatures in the low 70s. These temperatures coupled with sunny skies, are ours to keep through Saturday afternoon.

The only exception to that sunshine is Friday. Scattered rain and embedded thunderstorms will move into the region Friday afternoon and evening before getting out of the way by the wee-hours of Saturday
