The national average price for regular gas increased slightly to begin November. On Tuesday, a gallon of regular averaged $3.053, a slight increase from the end of October when national fuel costs were $3.04 per gallon .
Tuesday’s pricing was a slight increase from Monday, when the national average for a gallon of regular gas was $3.036, according to AAA . It was also more expensive than a week ago, when gas prices averaged $3.044. Overall, though, gas prices have remained steady and affordable, two good signs for the country’s commuters.
