Bilaspur: After a spate of road accidents over the last few weeks, India was jolted by a terrible rail mishap on Tuesday.
A passenger train collided with a goods train near Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur, resulting in the death of at least 6 people with several others injured. ADVERTISEMENT
MEMU local train (No. 68733), travelling from Gevra Road to Bilaspur, collided with a freight train on the up line between Gatora and Bilaspur at around 4 pm, PTI reported.
The impact was so severe that the first coach of the passenger train mounted the goods train.
