LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Temperatures will be well above average this afternoon. Don’t get used to the warmer temperatures because Wednesday will be much cooler. There is a small chance of rain this weekend.

Today will be mainly sunny and seasonably warm. Winds should be south and southwest at 5 to 15 mph. High temperatures look to range from the upper 60s to low 80s.

Wednesday is going to be much cooler thanks to a cold front moving through the area Tuesday night. Precipitation is not expected. It could be a bit breezy to begin the day with north winds at 10 to 20 mph and gusts to 30 mph. By the afternoon, the winds should be northeast at 5 to 15 mph. Low temperatures will be in the mid 20s to mid 40s. High temperatures look to be in the mid 50s to low 60s.
