Today will be mild and pleasant, even though it will be increasingly breezy by tomorrow, making it feel cooler. Some light rain could then move into our area Thursday night into Friday morning.
This weekend, temperatures are set to take a sharp turn cooler, dropping significantly as we head into Saturday and continuing into early next week. We'll see highs falling into the 40s and 50s on Saturday, with a further cooldown expected.
There's even a slight possibility of mixed precipitation, perhaps even some snow mixing in, especially early Sunday and Monday in our inland areas, as a much colder airmass settles in.
For now, we're forecasting highs in the upper 30s for Monday, so a stark contrast to the mild conditions we'll enjoy this week.
