Regina police will be speaking to the media Tuesday morning about two reports of possible tampering of Halloween candy over the weekend. In both cases, callers reported finding needles stuck into chocolate bars.
The news conference is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. CST.
Just before midnight on Friday, Regina police say they received a call about a child in East Regina finding a needle in a chocolate bar they had gathered trick or treating. According to the report, the caller said they noticed a small hole in the bar's wrapper.
