David Beckham , now Sir David Beckham , is officially a knight!

King Charles himself did the honor of giving the 50-year-old retired soccer legend his knighthood at Windsor Castle on Tuesday (November 4) in Windsor, England. You can see all the photos in the gallery.

David ‘s wife Victoria Beckham , as well as his parents, Sandra and Ted , were on hand to celebrate the achievement and pose for photos after his investiture ceremony.

He was awarded the title for his services to sport and charity.
