ROSEAU COUNTY, Minn. — A Roseau man waived his Monday, Nov. 3, omnibus hearing and pleaded not guilty to second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Jeremy Allen Johnson, 45, faces a maximum of 25 years in prison for the one felony charge, which includes allegations of multiple acts of sexual contact with a minor under the age of 16.
Johnson was charged in June after a minor girl disclosed prior acts of sexual assault and agreed to be interviewed by a social worker, according to a statement of probable cause filed in the case.
During the interview, the girl recounted multiple instances of Johnson touching her inappropriately over an approximate three-year period, the statement said.
Law enforcement located Johnson and questioned him about the allegations, which he denied.
