MORRISVILLE, New York (WWNY) - An investigation into a reported shooting incident at SUNY Morrisville determined it was an isolated dispute.
According to the New York State Police, the dispute was between people who were familiar with each other.
An investigation is ongoing, State Police say they are working closely with local law enforcement.
There is no indication of any ongoing threat to the campus community; however, State Police and SUNY Morrisville are implementing additional security measures on campus and an increased police presence.
The reported incident happened on Monday at around 3:45 p.m. following a report of a person shot at South Hall on the SUNY Morrisville campus.
SUNY Morrisville is located east of Syracuse, in Madison County.
