ALTOONA, Pa. (WTAJ) -- Veterans Day is already near, and Sheetz is thanking those who served with a free meal and car wash.

On Tuesday, Nov. 11, all veterans and active-duty military personnel can get a free turkey half sub and a regular fountain drink at any of Sheetz's 800+ stores -- and guess what? It includes extras and add-ons to the sub, Sheetz said.

Those same servicemembers, past and present, can also claim a $9 car wash for free at any Sheetz store with a car wash. Sheetz stressed this is only for the $9 car wash option.

All you need for either offer is a military ID or proof of service to show employees at the register.
