(Louisiana First) - The Justice & Accountability Center of Louisiana (JAC) is bringing its first Baton Rouge Expungement Clinic to the capital city, offering free legal assistance to residents seeking to clear their criminal records and access new opportunities in employment, housing, and education.
This community event aims to remove one of the most persistent barriers faced by Louisiana residents with old or minor criminal records. The expungement process, often costly and complex, prevents many from moving forward in life despite having served their time or completed their legal obligations.
