OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A teen has been charged with terroristic threats after making a post on social media threatening to “shoot up” a Sarpy County haunted house attraction.
18-year-old Marshall Fry was charged with terroristic threats, and had his bond set at $10 million when he made his first court appearance on October 24.
Fry’s preliminary hearing is set for November 17.
A Sarpy County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched on October 6 to Scary Acres after a comment was made on the attraction’s Instagram account saying “Finna shoot you guys up.”
The head of security at Scary Acres, a retired OPD gang unit detective, was concerned about the comment due to previous incidents.
An OPD investigator also looked into the account that made the comment, but the account was not following any local
