EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The University of Southern Indiana (USI) is set to embark on a $34 million renovation and expansion of the Byron C. Wright Administration Building.

The project, funded through state capital secured in the 2023-25 budget cycle, will transform the building originally constructed in 1969 under USI's founding President Dr. David L. Rice.

The renovation will start with demolishing 26,000 square feet on the building's north side, allowing for a new two-story structure with a modern glass façade. This expansion aims to provide additional space for offices and collaborative learning environments.
