ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - While millions of Americans wait to hear about SNAP’s future, others are worried about other forms of financial assistance crucial for families trying to get by.
One of those programs is Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, also known as TANF, which helps family cover expenses over a range of different household concerns.
The questions about the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families and the shutdown came up during other questions about SNAP ending -- especially when elected officials in Missouri announced impacts to residents.
