HOLDEN, Mo. (KCTV) - The Johnson County, Missouri, Sheriff’s Office says it is looking into possible employee misconduct within the City of Holden.
According to a release issued on Tuesday, Nov. 4, Holden Police Chief David Mayhew requested that a criminal investigation be opened after he received complaints of “potential employee misconduct.”
The alleged misconduct in question was not shared.
The sheriff’s office noted that its ongoing investigation is independent of the police department. While the case remains open, no further details will be released.
“We affirm our commitment to uphold the integrity of the investigation and the principle that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty,” the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
