Paraphernalia Books ‘N’ Stuff, the Downtown Belleville shop known for British treats, books, puzzles and gifts has reopened in Downtown Belleville.
After a fire last summer closed the business, owner Susan Chambers celebrated her store’s reopening on October 30 with help from Belleville Mayor Neil Ellis, city councillors and other dignitaries.

The store re-opened at its new location at 290 Front Street inside Stephen Licence Ltd. following the summer blaze above her previous location where Chambers lost most of her British food imports, 150 books, 132 puzzles and 226 collectible tin signs.
Following the fire, Chambers connected with Kevin Bongard from Stephen Licence Ltd. whose family’s 107-year-old business once experienced the same challenges to reopen after a fire
