Fugitive serial sex attacker Nicholas Rossi who faked his own death and fled to Scotland has been jailed for a second time for rape. ‌

Nicholas Rossi has been found guilty of another women in Utah in 2008. The 38-year-old has now been told he must serve at least 10 years in jail after the judge in the second case today imposed an additional sentence of between five years and life in prison. ‌

Rossi was arrested in Glasgow in December 2021, while a Covid patient at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, after staff identified his distinctive tattoos from an Interpol “wanted” notice. Rossi, however, claimed to be an Irish-born orphan called Arthur Knight who had never been to America - leading to a worldwide fascination with his case. ‌
