Fugitive Nicholas Rossi , who faked his own death and fled the US for Scotland, has received a second prison sentence for rape.
The 38-year-old has been found guilty of raping a second woman in Utah in 2008. He has been ordered to serve at least 10 years behind bars after the judge in the second case handed down an additional sentence of between five years and life on Tuesday, November 4.
He was arrested in December 2021 while a patient on a Covid ward at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
Staff identified his distinctive tattoos from an Interpol notice. However, he later claimed to be an orphan called Arthur Knight who was born in Ireland and had never been to America.
