The National Weather Service released a high wind watch at 1:03 p.m. on Tuesday valid from Wednesday 7 p.m. until Thursday 7 a.m. for Western Montgomery and Upper Bucks as well as Berks, Lehigh and Northampton counties.
The weather service says, "Northwest winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 50 to 60 mph possible."
"Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Widespread power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles," describes the weather service. "Monitor the latest forecasts and warnings for updates."
