ROSEAU, Minn. – With Minnesota’s 2025 firearms deer opening Saturday, Nov. 8, the Department of Natural Resources is reminding hunters in Deer Permit Area (DPA) 267 of Roseau County that the “lake bottom” road through Roseau Lake Wildlife Management Area northwest of Roseau is under construction and will be closed to travel throughout the entire nine-day firearms deer season.

The closure on 360th Avenue through Roseau Lake WMA includes portions of Unorganized Township sections 17, 20 and 29, beginning a quarter-mile north of the Stoie Bridge, which crosses the Roseau River on 360th Avenue, also known as County Road 123.

DPA 267 includes portions of Roseau Lake WMA and Lost River State Forest.
