This supermoon is called the Beaver Moon because this is the time of the year when beavers are most active as they prepare for winter.
How can I see the supermoon?
Skies will be clear for Philadelphia, the surrounding suburbs, Delaware and southern New Jersey Tuesday night so residents should be able to just look up and see the Beaver Moon with ease.
No special equipment is needed to see the Full Beaver moon after the sun sets at 4:54 p.m. on Nov. 4.
