SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Somerset County man is facing charges after he allegedly led troopers on a high-speed chase, fled through fields and destroyed crops and fencing.

Tyler Coughenour, 18, of Gray, is facing charges after Pennsylvania State Police saw a dark colored truck doing a burnout at the intersection of Sipesville Road and Somerset Pike. On Nov. 1, troopers were traveling in the area when they noted they could hear a truck revving and then saw the pickup do a burnout and flee the area.

Police followed the truck onto Barnett Road and activated their emergency lights and sirens for a traffic stop. Coughenour, who was driving, refused to stop and instead fled onto Yoder Road and Keysertown Road. According to the complaint, he then fled through two separate fields and broke
