BEDFORD, Pa. (WTAJ) — A judge has granted a petition for DNA testing of a car involved in a 2024 DUI crash that killed two people.

Kaleb Strong is accused of driving under the influence when the car crashed into a rock embankment along Lincoln Highway in Oct. 2024. Strong originally told police a deer ran out in front of the car, causing them to swerve and crash. Keaghan Smith-Price, an Altoona Area High School student-athlete, and Kamren Martin, who were also in the car, died at the scene. Strong was charged two months later with multiple counts of homicide by vehicle.
