An iconic restaurant in Chicago's Jefferson Park neighborhood that unexpectedly shuttered over the summer has announced it is making a comeback.
Gale Street Inn, located at 4914 North Milwaukee Avenue, posted on social media Saturday announcing it is "making a comeback."
The restaurant announced in June on social media that it was closing due to staffing troubles.
"Hiring and retaining quality staff has proven too tough for too long. We are tired of sucking, we have standards you know," the closure announcement from the restaurant read. "But overworking our existing crew is not the answer. There are simply too many of you and not enough of us."
Gale Street Inn first opened in 1963 and quickly became known for their ribs.
