LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — MGM Resorts donated free meals and supplies to TSA workers at Harry Reid International Airport on Tuesday.

According to officials, about 700 meals were delivered to federal TSA workers impacted by the government shutdown.

“You’ve got husbands and wives, boyfriends and girlfriends, you’ve got both of them losing their income, and that’s a double blow. You’ve got Thanksgiving coming up. Going into that time, large employers, the whole community, it’s important that they feel the love, “ said John Flynn with MGM Resorts International.

Airport officials say they are looking to connect with business and community partners across the Las Vegas Valley to help federal employees and families in need.
