Shortages of acetaminophen with oxycodone, like Percocet, are ongoing, with some supply expected in early December
The Canadian Press reported Monday that an ongoing shortage of some prescription painkillers, initially expected to be resolved by early fall, is now predicted to continue into the new year.
Earlier this year, Health Canada announced shortages for medications that combine acetaminophen with codeine or oxycodone due to manufacturing disruptions and increased demand.
